Often times if the teeth have been missing for a long period of time there is no longer enough bone to support an implant. In such cases Dr. Hoover augments (builds up) the existing bone using various bone grafting procedures utilizing the patient's own growth factors concentrated out of their own blood. This is called Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). This enables the placement of implants and restorations of the dentition.
